The shorthand of it is that EA continues to paint a picture of themselves as some slimy, money-grubbing entity whose salivating tongue slathers all over its own products and cannot help but make those who touch them feel dirty for having done so. Little attention is paid to PC support in general, as mouse control has been requested since before official launch and has been all but totally glossed over by the developer. The distance readings have been 'off' lately, in that inaccurate yardages and measurements of feet to the hole while on greens are being shown. Nickle-and-diming practices aside, the game menus have only recently seemed to be functioning the way they should have at release (previously slow, unresponsive). the game went on sale within 2 months of launch at 50% off, which would make anyone who paid full price for it question why a pro-pass system was implemented recently to further incentivize spending money for additional "unlocks" as you 'level up' your pass on a monthly basis (accomplished by simply playing rounds of golf, online or off) in-game prices of store cosmetics and apparel were doubled and tripled across the board, which is doubtlessly supposed to entice you to spend real money in the store instead to acquire these useless things online tournaments (with the exception of Arcade mode) now require a controller, which was not a stipulation during early access or for the first month My main gripes with this game, and I can only speak for myself as I do not keep up with what little of a community this game has in the first place, are that it was not only released in an unfinished state (released April 7th, right before Masters tournament - opportunistic timing) but EA then went back after the first month of release and made some changes It is the same game as on console to my knowledge.
